What is the Alexander Palm?
Archontophoenix alexandrae, commonly known as the Alexander Palm or Alex Palm, is an elegant Australian native palm that can grow up to 12-15 meters tall. It's upright trunk and striking green fronds with a silvery underside, makes it the perfect statement palm in your garden. Low maintenance and self-cleaning, the Alex Palm is wind and rainfall tolerant - an excellent choice for mass plantings or as a feature palm. Often mistaken for the Bangalow Palm.
