What is Kangaroo Paw Landscape Scarlet?
Anigozanthos Landscape Scarlet is a modern landscape kangaroo paw variety developed for its improved hardiness, prolific flowering and vibrant colour. It is widely used in Brisbane gardens for adding bold native colour and attracting nectar-feeding birds. Its tidy clumping habit and long flowering period make it ideal for both residential and commercial landscapes.
How to care for Kangaroo Paw Landscape Scarlet
Plant in a full sun position with well-drained soil for best flowering and plant health. Water regularly during establishment, then reduce watering once established. Remove spent flower stems and older foliage to encourage fresh growth and repeat flowering. Avoid heavy or poorly drained soils, particularly during cooler months. Apply a low-phosphorus native fertiliser during the growing season.
